Should vitamin c be taken with food?

Vitamin C does have many benefits for the human body, there are many vitamin C supplements, can we take it with food?

1. At the same time as pig liver, it fails
Vitamin C is easily oxidized and lost its activity, especially copper and iron ions, which will speed up its oxidation thousands of times. The pig liver is rich in copper and iron ions. Therefore, vitamin C and pig liver will produce other substances in vitamin C at the same time, which will be invalid.

2. Do not mix with eggs
Milk and other foods rich in vitamin B2 are eaten at the same time. Vitamin B2 is redox, and its oxidation is stronger than reduction. When the two are at the same time, it will not only make vitamin C invalid but also affect the role of vitamin B2 in the body, which can be said to be “both lose”.

3. Do not eat a lot of vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, etc. while taking vitamin C
Because these vegetables contain vitamin C decomposing enzymes, this enzyme can promote the decomposition of vitamin C, and then it does not work.

4. Use less vitamin C when smoking
Although the content of vitamin C in the body of smokers is lower than that of non-smokers, they need supplementation, but studies have shown that smoking will change the nature of vitamin C in saliva and convert it into substances that are harmful to the human body.
